Cookie Policy

Effective: 10 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how AuthorForge, operated by Neochic Digital Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit the platform or pages published through it.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. We also use local storage and similar technologies for the same purposes.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • ›Essential: required for login, security, and core functionality. The service does not work without these.
  • ›Preference: remember choices like theme or accent colour.
  • ›Analytics: Google Analytics measures approved public-site visits and limited acquisition events. These are optional and require consent.
  • ›Advertising measurement: Meta Pixel (ID 1400590752240073) measures page views on a limited set of public AuthorForge marketing pages after consent; it is not used on private author workspaces or user-created author websites.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services set their own cookies, including Stripe (fraud prevention on payment flows), Google (for integrations you connect and, where enabled, analytics), and Meta (for consented advertising measurement on public marketing pages). These are governed by those providers' own policies.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent login and core features from working. Rejecting optional analytics and advertising tracking will not break the service. You can revisit your choice using the Cookie choices button.

5. Do Not Track

We do not respond uniquely to browser 'Do Not Track' signals because there is no consistent standard. You can manage tracking through your browser cookie settings as described above.

6. Changes and Contact

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. For questions, contact us via the email in your account settings. See also our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
